How plumacreative was born

Plumacreativa does not have a precise date of birth, it is rather a project that has been built up over the years, it all started in 2016 when Andrea and I got married.

My name is Macarena Gonzalez, I came to Italy in 2007 to study architecture, I eventually fell in love with this country, its culture, its landscapes... and of course Andrea.

Ever since I was a little girl I had a passion for drawing, so I went on to study architecture, but it was designing our invitations, menus and our entire wedding suite, that I understood the path I wanted to take.

I worked for almost a year on the plumacreative project, before proposing my graphics services for weddings, it was a year of research, of preparation; I learnt about printing methods, types of paper, deepened my technical knowledge in both digital and freehand drawing, sought out the best suppliers, to propose a complete alternative to accompany the bride and groom in their choice of graphics.

So it was as I left my job as an architect for good, to devote 100% to plumacreative, which is now my full-time job, I mainly design invitations and wedding graphics and also work on corporate graphics.

It happens very often that customers think that there are many people behind plumacreative, and no, there is only meI'm the one who answers your e-mails, I'm the one who prepares the estimates and drafts, I'm the one who assembles, packages and sends out all your invitations and co-ordinates... it's manual work, I would say handicraft.

I am a very sensitive person and I get emotional easily, I like people's reactions when they receive good news, that invitation that generates so many emotions; smiles, hugs and tears of happiness... this is my job, I work for those true and sincere emotions.
