Origin of this tradition
According to the ancient Egyptians, on the ring finger of the left hand passes a small artery leading directly to the heart; even the Romans believed in the existence of this “vena amoris”, considered a privileged route to feelings.
Another beautiful legend comes from the East: according to the Chinese, each finger of the hand represents a family figure. The thumbs are the parents, the index fingers are the siblings, the two middle fingers together represent ourselves, the little fingers are our children... and the ring fingers? They are our better half, the person we choose to spend the rest of our lives with.
If you put your hands together by bending your middle fingers inwards, you can detach all your fingers except the ring fingers, the wedding ring worn on the ring finger represents the indissolubility of this bond.
It does not matter what the reason is for wearing wedding rings, What matters is that they are the symbol of your union, the one that will remind you every day that out of millions, you chose him/her.
