My name is Macarena Gonzalez, and I work as a wedding graphic designer with a line of personalized stationery.

But let’s go back. I came to Italy in 2007 to study architecture, and in the end, I fell in love with this country, its culture, its landscapes… and also with an Italian. So, Italy became my home.

After graduating, I worked for a few years as an architect, opening together with my husband the architectural firm dgaarchitetti, where I still take care of the graphic part.

Since I was a little girl, I had a passion for drawing, which led me to study architecture. However, it was only when we got married in 2016 that I understood the path I wanted to take.

The Birth of a Dream

Drawing our invitations, menus, and our entire wedding suite, I rediscovered the passion I felt as a child when I drew flowers, leaves, and everything I saw around me.

I worked on the plumacreativa project for almost a year before launching the website and offering my graphic services, not only related to the world of weddings but also to corporate graphics.

A Growing Project 

In 2020, our daughter arrived, and I fully enjoyed motherhood at that moment when the world was on standby. When things restarted in 2021, I realized that plumacreativa had grown a lot, and it was time to expand this small project, which now works with hundreds of clients every year. So, in 2022, Debora arrived to help me process and fulfill your orders.

During the spring-summer of 2023, Gaia joined us to help during the “busiest” time of the year. It was a beautiful experience that I hope can be repeated every year with young graphic design students.

Together, we take care of every detail because we know how important your wedding is. We know that the invitation announcing your union generates many emotions, smiles, hugs, and tears of happiness. This is our job – we work for those true and sincere emotions.
