My name is Macarena Gonzalez, I work as a wedding graphic designer and I have a personalised stationery line.

But let's go back, I arrived in Italy in 2007 to study architecture, I eventually fell in love with this country, its culture, its landscapes... and also with an Italian. So Italy became my home.

After graduation, I worked for a few years as an architect, opening the architecture office with my husband  dgaarchitects, where I still take care of the graphics. 

Ever since I was a little girl I had a passion for drawing, so I went on to study architecture, but it wasn't until we got married in 2016 that I realised the path I wanted to take.

The birth of a dream

Designing our invitations, menus and our entire wedding suite, I rediscovered that passion I felt as a child when I used to draw flowers, leaves and everything I saw around me.

I worked for almost a year in the plumacreativa project before launching the website and offering my graphic design services, not only related to the world of weddings, but also to corporate graphics.

A growing project 

In 2020, our daughter arrived, and I fully enjoyed motherhood right at that time when the world was on stand-by. When things started up again in 2021, I realised that plumacreativa had grown a lot and it was time to expand this small project, which by then was working with hundreds of clients a year. So in 2022, Debora arrived to help me process and realise orders.

During spring-summer 2023, Gaia arrived to help us out during the “hottest” time of the year, it was a wonderful experience that I hope can be repeated every year with young graphic design students.

We take care of every detail together because we know how important your wedding is. We realise that the invitation announcing your union generates many emotions, smiles, hugs, and tears of happiness… this is our job, we work for those true and sincere emotions.
