The Abbey of San Pietro in Valle, nestled among the mountains of Umbria, has been the setting for several weddings for which we have had the pleasure of designing the wedding stationery.
Today we are telling you about two of them, two. destination wedding celebrated in the same place and two graphic projects designed to accompany each wedding, from the invitations to the details of that day.
Returning, even after a period of time, to the same location through photographs is always special. The spaces are the same, but each wedding brings with it the people, the choices, and the small details that make it unique.

Jennifer and Lino: when the journey takes them to Umbria
Jenny and Lino discovered San Pietro in Valle Abbey during a trip to Italy, a year before their wedding. When they saw the ancient abbey nestled among the Umbrian mountains, they realized it would be the perfect place to host their guests.
For them, we designed the wedding stationery, starting with the invitations. The same graphic design was also used for the details of the wedding day.
The greenery of the vegetation surrounding the abbey has also been incorporated into the graphic design. In this way, we created a link between the paper and the place chosen by the newlyweds.

The ceremony took place in the church of the Abbey, while the other moments of the day took place in the external spaces and the cloister, between the stone of the ancient monastery and the Umbrian landscape.
The marriage also united different traditions, with a tea ceremony and traditional Chinese clothing before the religious ceremony.
The marriage of Jenny and Lino was also published by Style Me Pretty. The magazine told the story of their destination wedding in Umbria through the photographs of Chymo & More Photography and the details of the day.
Grashma and Jerim: delicate details within the walls of the Abbey
A few years later we returned, at least through paper documents, to the Abbey of San Pietro in Valle for the wedding of Grashma and Jerim.
For them we created the participation by choosing a project of ours. Essential Collection. Clean and delicate graphics, with a light palette that we also find in the flowers and the wedding decorations.

The same line was also used for the coordination of the wedding day. We designed the menus with a gold enamel seal and a small flower, which was then added by the florist. We matched the pink lace napkins with a pink tulle ribbon.
Thus, from the outdoor ceremony to the dinner in the cloister, stationery became part of the setting and the spaces of the Abbey.
Wedding stationery at the Abbey of San Pietro in Valle
It was nice to see two of our projects come to life in the same location and be rediscovered through the wedding photos.
San Pietro in Valle Abbey offers several spaces to accompany the various moments of the day. Among these, the panoramic garden, the Romanesque cloister, the church attached to the abbey, and the interior spaces.
In the weddings of Jenny and Lino and of Grashina and Jerim, the decorations and the coordination joined the flowers, the mise en place and the other details chosen for the day.
